New Release: Curity Identity Server 7.5

New Release: Curity Identity Server 7.5

We are pleased to announce the release of the Curity Identity Server 7.5. The new version contains a number of updates, including several to the authentication action subsystem.

Here are some of the highlights:

Update to the authentication action SDK

The SDK has a new action result type: restart. This lets an action rerun the flow from the last authenticator that executed. There is also a new restart action that uses this low-level capability and can be applied to any authenticator.

New actions

New actions were added that can restart the authentication pipeline, request user acknowledgement, and manually link accounts.

Metrics for monitoring HTTP clients

The Prometheus-compatible metrics have been enhanced to expose information regarding the HTTP clients. This enables monitoring of any subsystem that uses HTTP clients to communicate with external services. This includes total response times and success and error counts.

Finally, the SDK has been updated to allow plugins to access services using the managed object. This has previously been restricted but is now allowed.
