About the Role
The role of Sales Manager – US offers a unique opportunity to build the Curity brand in the United States by driving new business and maintaining a strong customer base. This role is both strategic and technical, providing high visibility in the US market with decision-making responsibilities that will have a lasting impact on Curity’s growth both locally and globally.
As a key hire, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing Curity’s presence in the US, preferably from a prime metropolitan location in the East Coast or Central US. This position is best suited for someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to build business opportunities from the ground up. The role requires an adventurous spirit, energy, and patience to develop a new business segment in the US while working closely with our headquarters in Sweden.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive outbound sales efforts – Prospect, network, and build relationships to develop a strong sales pipeline.
- Engage with inbound leads – Manage trial signups, contact requests, and webinar attendees, qualifying them into opportunities. However, the ideal candidate should have a hunter mentality, proactively driving outbound sales and independently generating new business opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads.
- Own the end-to-end sales process – Convert leads into deals and close six-figure contracts.
- Pitch and present to C-level executives – Confidently communicate Curity’s value proposition to decision-makers.
- Collaborate across teams – Work closely with sales development representatives, pre-sales engineers, and marketing to refine the sales strategy.
- Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting – Keep CRM updated and provide accurate sales projections.
- Market insights and trends – Provide valuable feedback to the product and engineering teams based on customer interactions.
- Travel as needed – Attend industry events, meet clients, and represent Curity in the US market.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with a hunter mentality, who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys building relationships with enterprise clients. You should have:
- Proven sales experience in outbound prospecting and closing deals. Background in BDR/SDR roles transitioning into AE/Sales positions is a strong plus.
- Experience selling technical solutions (SaaS, API management, identity security) to enterprise customers is an big plus.
- Ability to self-source leads and drive sales independently.
- Experience in selling to C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a history of hitting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong organizational skills, a self-motivated attitude, and the ability to thrive in a remote-first environment.
