Privacy Enabled Credentials: Share Less Data, Control More

Privacy Enabled Credentials: Share Less Data, Control More

Decentralized identity is a new paradigm of internet identity. Part of the promise is that the user is given back the control over their identity. The control over what gets shared with whom is paramount in this new shift.

As the technology standards emerge, many of the existing problems around privacy have been considered when designing the new protocols, laying the foundation for this monumental shift. Not only should the user be in total control over when their identity data is shared but also how much is shared. If all you need to know is the age of the user and all the user has is a passport, for example, how can we prevent oversharing information, so that privacy is possible.

In this webinar, identity experts Travis Spencer and Jacob Ideskog, will discuss:

  • how you can comply with data protection regulations, build trust and enhance user experience with emerging standards
  • how these standards work and when to use them
  • what the future holds for privacy enabled credentials and how to use them to gain a competitive advantage.
