We are happy to announce that Curity’s international patent application related to GraphQL access authorization is now public.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) published Curity’s patent application with the number WO2023180364A1 and the title “GraphQL Access Authorization”. This patent describes a new method for authorizing GraphQL access by calling an authorization engine to obtain an authorization decision and ensuring that its obligations are conformed to.
“GraphQL access authorization is a difficult problem to solve. The innovative work we’ve done in this area is an important step forward in making solutions to that challenge more accessible,” says Travis Spencer, CEO of Curity and co-inventor, when reflecting on the publication of the patent.
