SOC2 Type 2 is a widely recognized framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that evaluates how well a service provider handles sensitive data. ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard for managing information security, published jointly by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
