New Release: Curity Identity Server 9.4
We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Curity Identity Server. As always, this version contains many new features, fixes and enhancements.
Here are some of the highlights:
Selective Disclosure Credential Support
This release includes a significant update in the support for Verifiable Credentials. By adding Selective Disclosures using SD-JWTs the product now supports privacy protecting credentials, that after being issued to a wallet can be used to only disclose certain details about the user. It's all in the hands of the user to decide.
This involves updates in both the issuance of the credentials and in the authenticator that verifies them. The demo wallet has also been updated to support these credentials.
Artifact Binding and Encryption Support for the SAML Authenticator
The SAML authenticator has been enhanced to support both encryption, and artifact binding, making the authenticator compatible with more SAML IDPs.
Token Handler Support for OpenResty
Lastly, we continue the Token Handler work by adding support for the OpenResty reverse proxy. OpenResty is a version of Nginx with additional components added, but we will add pure Nginx support in future versions of the product.

The 9.5 train will leave the station on September 23, 2024.
