New Release: Curity Identity Server 10.0
We're excited to announce a new major release of the Curity Identity Server!
With version 10, we’ve hit a significant milestone in the life of the Curity Identity Server. Ten years of development have resulted in a robust, highly configurable and extensible product that we are proud to continue innovating on.
Here are some of the highlights:
OpenTelemetry
The new release introduces another monitoring feature: support for OpenTelemetry. This makes it possible to connect flows through the system from the gateway all the way down to the APIs using OpenTelemetry capable tooling.
Together with the Prometheus metrics, the alarms, the node status and the extensive logging capabilities we stay true to our mission to keep Curity a true cloud native component that is easy and trustworthy to run.
New Data Source: MongoDB
We've also added a new complete data source: MongoDB. This high-performance, flexible NoSQL database offers strong integrity and is a valuable addition to our extensive support for data backends. The new data source is compatible with all interfaces, including tokens, accounts, and sessions.
Authorized Grants GraphQL API
In the area of GraphQL, we have a new API in the Token Service for viewing granted authorizations. This enhances visibility and management of the relationships between users and clients, including the ability to revoke all tokens issued for a specific user on a given client with a single operation.
New Throttling Framework for Sending Emails
Finally, we've enhanced our throttling framework, starting with improved throttling for emails in the email authenticator. This updated system is significantly more robust, providing more precise protection against brute-force attacks.
