New Release: Curity Identity Server 9.1
We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Curity Identity Server! Though a minor release, this version contains almost as many features, fixes and enhancements as a major release.
Here are some of the highlights:
Database Clients in the Admin UI
The new release introduces the functionality of managing GraphQL data from inside the admin UI. This means that from now on, the database clients can also be managed next to regularly configured clients directly in the admin UI, in addition to the DevOps Dashboard and directly using the GraphQL API.
Account Multi-Tenancy Support
This new experimental feature, only available with Postgres in this release, significantly enhances multi-tenancy support for accounts. Each authentication profile can be configured to pertain to a particular tenant, and all user-related data will be associated with this tenant when stored. This means that multiple profiles can share the same data source and same tables while the data in them is separated by tenant.
Sign-Up Action Feature
Version 9.1 introduces a new type of action: sign-up actions. These decouple the account sign-up process from specific authenticators, allowing you to configure elaborate sign-up journeys. These actions enable, for example, full passwordless experiences where the main sign up flow uses other factors such as passkeys, OTPs, or emails.
Better Feedback on Password Policy Violation
Finally, a small but noteworthy update to the password policy feature. Now, feedback on the password creation screens tells the user what they need to do to comply with the password policy and provides visual feedback as they are typing.

The 9.2 train will leave the station on May 6, 2024.
