ICA Extends Use of the Curity Identity Server to Centrally Manage Identities Across Its Holdings
ICA (ICA Gruppen), a leading Swedish food and health retail company, will continue to leverage the Curity Identity Server to centralize identity and access management as well as API security throughout its holdings and franchises. A Curity customer since 2017, the group is extending the relationship to enable even more back-end efficiencies and positive online customer experiences.
With a diverse portfolio of grocery stores, pharmacies, financial services and real estate, ICA relies on the Curity Identity Server to consolidate identity and access management while also meeting the varied login and access requirements of each of its businesses. Additionally, Curity’s secure API access capabilities enable the security team to protect digital services and systems against unauthorized access and cybercriminal activity.
Alexander Salwey, ICA's Manager of Security Operations:
“Curity makes it possible for us to enforce rigorous security controls across the individually owned and separately operated entities that comprise our group. Plus, we’re able to support a range of authentication methods to provide user experiences that are best-aligned to each organization.”
The Curity Identity Server’s APIs and SDKs enable the team at ICA to implement standards-based identity and security protocols. As a result, the team saves time and can efficiently manage the demands of their large, distributed organization. Additionally, they are able to adhere to strict regulatory requirements, particularly those that apply to their health and financial services brands.
“It is a privilege to work with ICA as they successfully manage API security and identity access at such an expansive scale,” Travis Spencer, Curity's founder shares. “We highly value the opportunity to support the team as they continue to advance their technology capabilities and improve customer satisfaction.”
