Curity hosting OAuth and OpenID Connect workshops at the 2019 Austin API Summit
We're pleased to announce that Curity will be hosting two workshops at Nordic APIs 2019 Austin API Summit on May 13th.
Curity’s Jacob Ideskog and Daniel Lindau will host an introductory workshop about OAuth and OpenID Connect in Practice where delegates will be guided through the concepts behind OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. In short, we will talk about: OAuth flows and Actors, OpenID Connect, Token Formats, Token handling, and Securing an API.
For those who are more advanced in their knowledge and experience of OAuth and Open ID Connect, Travis Spencer will host a workshop on Advanced OAuth and OpenID Connect, where he will go through some of the more intricate aspects of the code and implicit flow, the hybrid flow, form response mode, Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE or “pixie”), Proof-of-Possession / Holder of Key and much, much more. Attendees of the advanced workshop are expected to have used or implemented these protocols before or to have attended at least one OAuth workshop previously.
You can find more information and tickets to the workshops here, along with further details for the main conference happening May 14th & 15th.
