There is a significant change coming to the traditional centralized identity paradigm.
According to Gartner, “The privacy and security of decentralized identity can mitigate risk associated with centralized identity stores, which continue to expose identity data in breaches. SRM leaders must assess timing and find appropriate use cases that can create value between now and the fully decentralized future.1
Curity understands this very well. The Curity Identity Server is already helping many organizations make this transition with the latest release able to issue verifiable credentials using the OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance draft specification. We feel, This feature will allow customers to experiment with credentials and plan how to use this new identity paradigm in products and services.
