Endpoints#

This section provides an overview of the endpoints that can be published on the SAML IDP server. Endpoints can be deployed in multiple instances, which is useful when different authentication scenarios require distinct configurations. For example, some endpoints may be published only on machines facing internal services, while others are exposed to the Internet.

Single Sign-On (SSO)#

The Single Sign-On (SSO) endpoint is the primary endpoint of the SAML IDP Profile. It is defined by the endpoint configuration type saml-sso. This endpoint handles incoming SAML authentication requests from Service Providers and orchestrates the authentication flow.
