Back-channel Authentication Actions

Back-channel authentication actions are authentication actions that can also be used during back-channel authentication, to perform additional operations on attributes. Only authentication actions with back-channel support can be used in the action pipeline of back-channel authenticators.

Requirements#

Due to back-channel limitations, only authentication actions that don’t have any user interaction steps can be used as back-channel authentication actions. To know if a specific authentication action has back-channel support, please see its documentation, available inside Authentication Actions . If back-channel support is not explicitly documented, then the authentication action does not support back-channel authentication
