Web UI Configuration Backup#

The Administrative Web UI provides a user-friendly interface for downloading configuration backups directly from the browser. This method is ideal for administrators who prefer graphical interfaces over command-line operations.

Using the Web UI#

A backup can also be made using the admin UI. To do this, log in to the UI and click Download from the changes menu:

If there are pending changes and Download is selected from this menu, then you will be asked if the running configuration should be downloaded or if the pending configuration (which may or may not be valid) should be downloaded.

Note that while you can backup configuration via the Web UI, restoring configuration must be done using command-line tools. See the CLI Methods documentation for restoration procedures.
