Event Coordinator

We are a fast-growing B2B technology company. Our product, the Curity Identity Server, helps millions of users log in securely to apps and websites every day. We’re a diverse group of individuals but we share one passion: helping our customers tackle identity and digital security challenges and, thus, making the Internet safer. We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our journey as part of the expanding marketing team.

About the Role

Do you enjoy working independently and being part of a close-knit team? Can you bring new ideas to drive brand awareness, engagement, and efficiency? Are you self-sufficient and self-motivated? Do you love arranging and taking part in great events? If so, please get in touch.

We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to manage many of the details around our events. You will be responsible for managing Curity’s presence at industry conferences as well as our own events. This will include execution, managing sponsorships, and being the point of contact for external events.

You will research upcoming events, manage expenses related to attendance, and coordinate Curity’s presence at the event. You will also be responsible for tracking success metrics after an event.

This is a hands-on, energetic role which would be well-suited for someone who is great at managing multiple projects, keen to build a new team function, and excellent at building relationships across divisions.

You will also work on our related brand, a popular industry blog and event organization, Nordic APIs. This includes the planning and execution of two annual events: one in the Nordics and one in the United States.

Our working language is American English, so good verbal and written communication skills in English are more important than perfect Swedish.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop an external events and sponsorship strategy that promotes the Curity brand
  • Manage event organizers and vendors/suppliers across Europe and the US, paying close attention to budget and deadlines
  • Work with the wider marketing team to design and coordinate marketing collateral and company swag
  • Organize and manage all event logistics details such as shipping, travel, accommodation, etc.
  • Organize event evaluations with the team to determine success and other analytics to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage internal events from start to finish, including venue planning, general logistics, speaker, sponsor coordination, and communication.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years experience in an event-related role with experience in organizing corporate events
  • Able to work well with a team and offer support as well as being able to solve problems
  • Amazing organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while working on a variety of simultaneous projects
  • Able to occasionally travel to conferences globally
  • A degree in events, marketing, communications or related is desired but not essential for the role

A happy bonus:

  • Experience in B2B tech marketing
  • Experience in managing international events
