Professional Services Engineer

The Professional Services Engineer is a key part of our customer team that helps organizations utilize the Curity product for authentication, API security and API-driven user management. The work includes training, assistance, installation and configuration to secure front-end clients, server applications, backend APIs and microservices with the Curity technology, as well as to integrate the product with databases and third-party services.
What you’ll do
Your work will primarily be in the Curity Stockholm office but once in a while also on customer premises. You are solutions and customer focused and will work closely with our core engineering team and the sales team. The work activities will include:
- Assist and support customers to setup and use Curity deployments in cloud-platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud or on-premise servers
- Integrate Curity with various user repositories and databases or with third-party services
- Develop Curity extensions in Java using the Curity SDK
- Interact with customers over Slack, Webex and other interfaces
Who You Are
- You are self-going, eager to learn and driven
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP and REST APIs
- Knowledge of OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, SCIM, SAML and PKI
- Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as SSO
- Experience of working with:
- Software development in Java, Javascript and Python
- Sysadmin work in Linux-based environments
- AD, LDAP, SQL and NoSQL databases
- AWS, Azure and Google Cloud platforms
- Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Ansible and Puppet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
